About Me
As a clinician, I show up with warmth, curiosity, and empathy, and I strive to create a space that is free from judgement. I respect the trust and vulnerability that it can take to show up for therapy: my goal is to make sure that this process feels collaborative and that you feel heard. I believe that you are the expert of your own experience, and I welcome feedback at any point in the therapy process as I work to meet you where you are at.
I enjoy working with teens, young adults, and adults who are navigating a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, stress, identity exploration, and life transitions. As a queer individual myself, I am also particularly passionate about working with members of the LGBTQ+ community.
I use an integrative strengths-based and person-centered approach. My approach is also systems-oriented: I believe in the importance of recognizing a person’s intersecting identities and understanding the systemic factors that contribute to each person’s experience. Some of the main modalities that I draw from include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also enjoy integrating mindfulness, when appropriate.
I would be honored to be a witness and a support as you work towards your goals, whatever they may be.
